CUSTOM FRAMING

PrintMaker Studio offers custom picture framing for photographs, fine art prints, works on paper, exhibition artwork, and personal collections.

Because every artwork is different, framing works best as a conversation. We help you choose the right frame, mat, spacer, glazing, mounting method, and presentation style based on the artwork, your space, your budget, and how the piece will be displayed.

Book a framing consultation using the form below and we’ll follow up to discuss your project.

Tell us a little about your artwork, size, timeline, and framing goals. We’ll follow up with options, recommendations, and an estimate.

FRAMING CONSULTATION

WHY CUSTOM FRAMING MATTERS

The right frame does more than surround an image. It protects the artwork, supports the presentation, and helps the piece feel finished on the wall.

A custom frame allows us to consider the artwork’s size, paper, surface, colour, depth, glazing needs, and long-term care. Whether you want a clean gallery presentation, a warm natural wood frame, a minimal metal frame, a float mount, a matted work on paper, or a shadowbox-style presentation, we can help you choose an approach that fits the work.

FRAMING OPTIONS

Wood & Metal Frames

We offer a range of wood and metal mouldings, from clean gallery profiles to warmer natural finishes and more traditional frame styles. During the consultation, we can compare options that suit the artwork, the space, and the overall presentation.

Mats, Float Mounts & Spacers

Some works look best with a traditional mat. Others benefit from a float mount, visible paper edge, or spacer presentation that creates depth while keeping the artwork away from the glazing.

Anti-Reflective Glass & Acrylic

Glazing affects both protection and viewing experience. We offer anti-reflective glass options, including AR70, to reduce glare and improve clarity while helping protect the artwork from UV exposure.

Mounting & Finishing

Because PrintMaker Studio also offers professional mounting and fine art printing, we can produce and finish the entire piece in one place, from file to print to mount to frame.

HOW THE FRAMING CONSULTATION WORKS

Start by submitting the form above with the artwork size, a short description, and any images or reference details you have. We’ll review the project and discuss options for frame style, matting, spacers, glazing, mounting, budget, and timeline. Once the materials are confirmed, we’ll prepare an estimate and production timeline before beginning the work.
